Hmm, most obvious point about those match-ups is that Buzarnescu was half the pair that beat Anna and Xenia in the Strasbourg SF end of last week.

And yes, just to note, none of the pairs above are ranked, which is some consolation to all the unranked pairs with Brits in them.

Yes, possibly Heather has got the best draw there as they are French WC's.
Lots of "who?" for me as I haven't heard of half of them!

No, it's correct. Irina Bara. Begu is partnering Qiang Wang.

Great win there for Heather, nice to see reach the second round twice over this week. smile

Remarkably for Heather she achieved good come backs in both sets, winning 3-4 of the last games in both sets - their opponents reached 3 games first in both of them.
