As far as I can see, Naomi is the only Brit Myers has beaten (twice) in the last year. She's lost to Lumsden, Taylor, and Moore in that time.

Naomi has made the doubles final again and could be up against Katy who is a set up.

Katy Dunne also has winning h2h against Myers (2-0), the last time they met in early 2017 she won easily for the loss only 4 games.

Abbie has a reputation amongst Ozzie tennis fans as a streaky player and if youve seen her play youll know why. She tends to be ultra aggressive, hitting some scorching winners and some back fence shockers and mental walkabouts (her matches at the Aus Open wc playoffs in Dec 2016 are a good set of examples and readily available on YouTube). i understand that she took some time away from the sport last year and seems to have returned with a renewed energy and better results. I dont know if shes change her game plan a little or if shes just on a hot streak.

Well, Naomi is certainly performing better in doubles than in singles at the moment... Congrats to her and Asia for their 2nd in a row
