Fran's next opponent is likely to be the girl she beat in three sets in the QF last week.

Francesca's win takes GB women to a total of 282 wins for they year-to-date. So?
This happens to be the exact same number of wins that they also had at the end of week 17 in 2017.

But, 2018 has seen us get there much more quickly.
2017: 282 wins from 275 entries (1.03 wins per entry), 552 matches (51.09% win percentage)
2018: 282 wins from 252 entries (1.12 wins per entry), 520 matches (54.23% win percentage)

The first half of 2017 was our strongest part, too. We've done very well to outmatch the pace.
Any more wins this week will see us start to build the improvement into clear positive margin.

Lost the first set, it remains close; Francesca's early break in the second probably won't be enough for the set, 5-7 *2-0

Francesca recovers the break; back level in the decider. Can she push on to the win?
5-7 6-2 *5-5
