Week 16 - ITF ($25K) - Obidos, Portugal Carpet

Watching Swan is eerily reminiscent of watching Laura R circa 2015

Well she is going to have to up her game now, as she's lost the first set 6-2. Too many errors, and not finding her opponents weaknesses.

Katie S 2-6 6-3 *1-1

14 breaks in the first 20 games. Serve doesn't look like an advantage!

Scoreboards seem to have got stuck.
Katie B has left the court, so must have won.
Hatie S held serve after a long long game, so *2-5

Well done young Katie Swan. A great performance in difficult conditions. That forehand she possesses is a lovely shot.

She made a bit of a meal of it finishing off the match, with those 3MP lost in the previous game. Too many balls down the middle today I think, should certainly have attacked the backhand more. Pity her serving wasn't the best today, could have made things a lot easier. Much the better player though, although Rodionova has great defence on the forehand side.
