Lissey should have an easier start this week, let's hope...

Not that easy - I'd expect it to be close.

Lissey's match is up on livescores now, though it is not showing the points in the stats section, but is in the momentum! Lissey is currently down 3-4*, and from the momentum section, that is 1 break to 2 against. Her last hold was to love, but she needs more...

Well, it's still the momentum graph showing what is happening in the match on livescores. And thankfully the graph was much more positive in the second set, and in the third, after an early break against her, Lissey has broken back then held. So current score is 3-6 6-1 3-2*

Crunch time now

Lissey gets a critical break, and serves for the match. Gets to 30-0, then loses the next 3 points, saves the BP, gets to Ad, and wins on her first MP. That's a good, morale boosting win for her...

R32: Alicia BARNETT (GBR) 658 beat Snehadevi S REDDY (IND) [Q] 994 (CH:449 Aug 16) 3-6 6-1 6-3

Better news out of Sharm today than Obidos.

Amelia Stuart + Akilah James (USA) have just beaten an UNR USA/RSA WC pair 6-3 4-6 10-6 in the R16 doubles.

Lissey is playing again with Julia Terziyska (BUL) as 3rd seeds again too. They will also play their first round match later today. Julia it was who beat Tara in the singles final last week.

Lissey and Julia have also won their doubles on an MTB, 6-3 3-6 10-7

So that's 3/3 from Sharm today smile

Alicia+ win 6-3 3-6 [10-7] smile

I think it is Amelia's 2nd doubles counter.

Amelia +'s next opponents took out the top seeds in their first round match, so will be the strong favourites there.

Great win for Lissey, 7-6(3) 6-4, on her 3rd MP, and good to see her over the line safely, after leading initially 5-2 in the second set smile
