Good stuff

As it is he will already be pushing up his current CH 674, the only other current GB teen apart from Jay in the top 900 ( he will turn 20 on 28/02 but even then Jonny Gray would be the only additional under 21, indeed under 22, within that top 900 ). With a JCH 25 from a late start and a rather different background to most I really hope that he can push on again this year.

Certainly say getting within Bob's top 500 would seem a very legitimate target.

He won the 3rd set 6-4. It now appearsITF livescore have technical difficulties, the last I saw of Tiran vs Jonathan Gray, was Jonathan 2-0 up, 1st set.

Looks as though rain(?) has stopped play again at 6-2 1-4* to Tiran.

Copperjans did require a 3rd set TB against a player ranked in the 700s to get through the last round so there is always hope.

Let's hope Ryan flies up the rankings and proves the LTA administrators that they don't know what they are doing.

Jonny should also now be taking out his CH 550. If he won this event he would go to 73 points and be top 500.

Both Jonny and Ryan are down for next week's Turkey F2 here, with any points from that also counting to the 29/01 rankings.

Looks like play interrupted again, both games only just started. Gray is 30-15 up, on serve in the first game. Storrie lost his opening service game but is at deuce in the second.

I'd still like to know more about who Tiran is, apart from the fact that he can obviously play a bit, if someone could provide some info please!!! confuse

I'm not sure what you want to know. Just turned 19.

Saw him play at Shrewsbury. Looks a decent player. Looks older than he is(big build and balding)

And he's Sikh, if that's of any relevance. And has a beard. (Priesty, I think, it was said he was an instant fan of any tennis player who's not yet twenty and already had a beard and going bald smile)

I know he played no junior events which also always sort of endeared him to me. Played a lot of British Tour if you want to look up his results there.

Can't recall saying that CD sorry smile
