She likes playing Hobart - still think there is something in the phrase "horses for courses" in tennis.

Straight sets win for Heather, no breaks of service - indeed only dropped 5 points on serve. Nice to see.

She now has 78 points from Hobart (net gain 60) , her best return since Wimbledon last year and covered the 70 points from the AO last year (net loss 60 if she loses in R1)

I notice she has changed rackets from Babolat to DunlopSrixon... wonder if that's made a difference.

That's interesting. According to my son she was using a Babolat Pure Strike before, which is a bit lacking in power (Cam Norrie was using the same racket). Maybe the racket change has helped Heather.

 Yes, that's right. I have used Pure Strikes for about 4 years now. Suits my game but I was surprised to see Heather using them.
