Good start
Laura had 5 top 200 wins in 2017, the first of which came in week 4, the last in Week 25. So this is her first for half a year.

 ...To get 9 pts, having got 5 from her win today. This really should be at least a 60k tournament with the field it has, which is why the LTA have upped their pre-Wimbledon ITF tournaments.

Well done, Laura.

No idea if they've really started yet but my hope/punt is that Bok will make a big difference this year - someone has to - it's all possible for her - and he certainly has the history to do so.

Nice to get some good wins to kick off the year.

I have though have no excuse; I only had to count the names.

Very even in almost every respect - Laura's 1st % is down a bit compared to Andreescu, the only real difference.
Laura recovers the break, and holds to take her first lead, 4-3*
