British Tour 2018

I have no more information than you, Pocky. She won the Tier 2 event at Edgebaston this year, but hasn't played many events at this level. I wouldn't be surprised if there is a connection with fellow Essex team members Aimee Gibson and possibly Eden Silva though.

Thanks, Ive noticed a few forays at British Tour level where shes done well so was surprised that shes not played a senior event or many junior events... maybe she just likes playing tennis and has no ambitions beyond that which is fair enough.

In the semis, Tiegan defeated Camille as Camille had to retire after one set.

Tamara came through a long three-setter against Dani Hack.

So it's Tiegan v Tamara in the final

Thanks CD - I'd forgotten about Ilkley with so many taking part elsewhere this week. I'll go have a look at the draw

Big entry for the Premier event at Sutton next week (encouraged no doubt by the double prize money on offer) - 20 listed in main draw, and 45 in qualifying (draw already made).
Entires are headed by Eden Silva, Freya Christie, Ella Taylor, Erin Richardson and Sasha Hill.

In the British Tour, Cumberland, Destinee Martins is in the final, after Bella Moen retired in the semi at 2-1

The other semi seemingly has not been played yet, between Alice Gillan and Andre Lukosiute

In the Tier 1 event at Paddington, Alicia Barnett WTA 531, is top seed.

It's a pretty skinny draw though, apart from that, especially for a tier 1, a lot of byes, and not much depth in the field.
