 This is a wonderful article, thanks Nick. I have even more admiration and respect for Emily after reading this. Glad to see she still has a full set of ambitions, and wish her some luck in fulfilling them in 2018 - and at least topping that $16k in tour earnings. Good though that she finds other income earners along the road too...

Sam won 7-6(2) 6-1

Shouldn't have talked about Em and tiebreakers...

She loses 64 76(7) missing two set points *6-4 up. Double faulted on the one on her serve.

Brutal conditions today as well. Rough.
