A win in doubles for Tiffany, who managed to somehow partner with Tadeja Majeric, 6-1 6-0
Might have a bit of a chance for a win or two more here, given the field.

Tiff and partner got a bit more luck in the doubles - not only did she nab Majeric as a partner (WTA singles 366, ex 111) but the fourth seeds withdrew so the Swedish pair went through which made life easier too.

Tiff and Tadeja currently leading 6-4 3-0 - a 25k SF (minimum) would crown a nice week for Tiffany as she gets on the singles ranking board

Yes. Very satisfying weeks work for Tiffany all round.
This should mean a doubles career high to add to the shiny new singles ranking, when the pooints go on.

Tiffany & Tadeja are a set and a break up in their semi-final, against a Veselinovic/Sanchez, who are a combined 1600+ places higher than them, 6-3 2-0*

The week just gets better and better for Tiffany!
SF: Williams/Majeric (GBR/SLO) 1925 defeated Sanchez/Veselinvoic (MEX/MNE) 612 6-3 6-2

Might face Conny in the final, who is already in the singles final, and a set up in the doubles semi.

A great win for Tiffany+ and she will indeed face Conny in the final. Interesting that Conny has chosen to come all the way to Lagos this week, whilst Tara has remained in the US. Well Conny has made two finals now, so a good payoff for her, but I will be quite happy if she only wins one of them.

Pesky Conny did the double, singles and doubles champ, denying Tiffany.
What a wonderful week for Tiffany nonetheless. Hopefully just the start.
