Bit surprised to see Em A in Tunisia - thought she's be heading back to Stanford before then.

Stanford tend to start sending some players to the ITA all American tournament which this year is in LA right at the end of September (30/9 through to 3/10) Emily went playing doubles with Taylor Davidson last year straight in as a freshman as part of their no 1 doubles team.

I do wonder whether they will go for a dream team and pair her up with incoming freshman Michaela Gordon as Taylor has left , that would be exciting with the potential to do some real damage not only at the collegiate level but also on the futures/WTA tour given a few wildcards. It will be interesting to see who gets paired with who, Melissa Lord the new No 1 will also be without a partner as Caroline Doyle has also left, the coach is about as good as you can get in ladies college tennis and has a feel for theses things as demonstrated last year by sticking Emily straight in.

A week earlier (22/9) there is the battle in the bay run by UCSF which has in the past offered wildcards for Tiburon (mens) and the Stockton Challenger later in the year (ladies), Cal are running the Nike Invitational over the same weekend. There is a gap (St Mary's ran an invitation on the east side of the bay last year) and then its the ITA North West regionals which Stanford are hosting.

In the French 25k+H event, Kivanda is also in the quali list. With Ed Harwood as first ALT.

And Oli Golding is also in the ALT list, admittedly a fair way down but you never know....
