Sabalenka is a 19 year old on a career high so is probably better than her present ranking would imply, however Heather did beat her 3 months ago.

JoKo is the 7th seed again and will play Kiki Bertens NED WR 27 (CH 18 in May) or (WC) Océane Dodin FRA WR 47 (CH 46 in Jun) in R2

The main draw cut here is 47 - even being top 50 didn't guarantee a place!

Heather keeps fighting back. I think she was down 5-0 in the first before pulling back to take it into a tie break. She just pulled back to 4-4 in the 2nd but then lost her service again. 4-5*

Heather can do bad losses but it's harsh to call that one. Sabalenka is a talented player on the rise and will be breaking into the top 100 soon.
