No, two qualifying rounds are quite enough for our nerves. Both Heather and Jamie have qualified.

Almost deja vu all over again, as heather failed to serve it out twice in a row, but, into the MD any way you can.

Decent draw, in Patricia Maria Tig, predominantly a clay courter, and not in the same form as she showed in patches last year as she was breaking in to the top 100. Due to the vagaries of the ranking cut offs, heather is considerably higher ranked of the two now, 136 versus 76.

Another serious issue closing that one out but just got away with it. She was absolutely atrocious against Tig in Miami, let's hope she plays significantly better this time.

Perfectly capable of doing well this week if she gets her head in gear and the nerves under control.

Misses a set point at 5-4* and another at 6-5*

Served brilliantly other than at *5-3 when she totally collapsed and then played a woeful tiebreak.

Carbon copy of Miami. Better player, but choked and snatched at it when it came to the crunch. Stupid as she was under no pressure from anything Tig was doing.

Loses the first set 7-6(3).

Tig hasn't won a set since Miami as it happens.

Apologies, it was 7-4 in the breaker.

Heather's mental fragility is not getting any better is it? Holding her back so much, a good dozen matches in the past two seasons she's choked away.

Needs to start this set strong.
