Yes, but the overall score masks the quite remarkable turnaround Jay performed from the losing nine consecutive points in the first set to trail *4-2 40-0, he then won 18 consecutive points to take the set 6-4! Remarkable turnaround. Get in there, lad. Great win. Agree with Sheddie's excitement about Jay, I think he might be really big news!

No net points addition for Jay yet ( 18th counter is 2 ) but that covers the 2 due off on 07/08.

So he now has nothing due off until 6 points on 02/10 and any advance on 2 points each week until then ( including this week ) is a net gain. He has quite a few counters of 2 points to hopefully replace in the coming weeks.

The not bad list in total all adding in since October ( and counting the 2 points so far this week ) totalling 140 points:

1 x 20  ( Ikley Challenger QF )

3 x 18 ( 15K titles )

1 x 16 ( Wimbledon FQR )

6 x 6 ( 15K SFs )

7 x 2 ( 15K QFs  )

Jay has beaten Galoppini twice already this year - though last time, the Italian served for the match at one point.
