It must be an amazing feeling to be facing Hingis (and Chan) in the SFs of a Tour-level match - the kind of thing one plays in hopes of achieving. Well done to Ms Smith and Ms Melichar ... and all the best to them!

Hingis/Chan d Smith/Melichar 6-3 6-3.

Having seen the absolute pasting that Hingis and Chan have given some quite good partnerships, that's a very, very decent score.
