I notice Amanda Carreras has withdrawn from the Italian clay 25k this week... So now there is no indication at all of what her future plans are, and whether or how she intends to try and make French Open qualifying, if indeed that was a goal of hers.
Amanda is down for the 25k clay in the US next week so probably will be out there for a few weeks where the fields will be weaker than any European similar events in the build up to RG.
I'd presume that Amanda is eying up the 3 US 60k clay court events that follow on from that 25k. But with 12 US women currently ranked in the RG qualifying spots, and very interested in winning the USTA RG MD WC, fields could be quite strong.
