Hope Evo feels refreshed and ready to go for Dubai, which was the earliest he at all envisaged playing again.

It is still just a three week break to Dubai and then into Indian Wells and Miami so considering his start to the year and these feet it does seem fair enough. Certainly more fair than his previous theoretical play every week schedule.

Davis Cup QF the week after Miami concludes too, but France just need to say "clay" and that should be another week off from competition.

Evo was obviously caught by surprise, but being a professional he needs to play to get pay. Much of his initial scheduling was probably down to that and not really expecting to progress to the later rounds of main tour events frequently and wanting to optimise the opportunity his rank was giving him to earn.

The way he has played has earnt him the right to be more selective and as he has stated the intensity and attritional nature of his performances has resulted in the need for retreading! He needs a shoe manufacturer, hopefully in an attempt to nullify global warming, Asics, to sort his feet out.

He's playing 24 hours continuously this Saturday through to Sunday for charity. (I know, I know).

Pulled out of the 15k in France the following week. I give up guessing if Marcus is going to actually give the tour a proper go!

Acupalo is the most dangerous city in Mexico. Daily gun shootings even in the tourist resort part of the city

I thought I'd read somewhere that Tara was making the trip to KL, no sign of her in qualies though

They'd better watch out next week then. If recent events in Ottawa and Delray Beach are anything to go by the arrival of Kyle will make the place even more dangerous!wink

I meant to add, they must be giving Djokovic an enormous appearance fee - they are desperate to improve the image of the city and return the place to a tourism hot spot.
