British Tour 2017

Wonder why Katie Boulter withdrew?

I don't see her on any lists for next week.

Do hope she's OK....

I believe in the predictions top 10 you are the only person to have gone outwith our current top 12 - i.e. gone for Eleanor.

Would be great if that happens !

All the best to her.

So much potential with Eleanor. If she's heathy for 12 months and more she'll be top 200 and then some.

That's a real shame, probably first match where she's really had to push herself. Hopefully just pulled out to avoid aggravating something.

I can remember a few years ago when Eleanor had won a 10K or two aged about 16 and did not enter junior Wimbledon.   Most thought this was a good idea to keep her under the radar.  I said I thought she ought to have competed in the tournament in view of her propensity to be injured.  She had a good chance of winning it and had she done so, at least she would have achieved something memorable and lasting.  As it was, the issue turned out to be academic as she was injured again by the time Wimbledon arrived.    How tragic to have so much talent and yet be unable to make use of it.

Oh no, really hope for Eleanor.

6-2 first set win against Freya says so so much and then so soon followed by "Retired"
