ITF withdrawal date has come and gone, and a big entry at Sheffield as expected

I wouldn't be surprised if Lisa Whybourn withdraws as well - it appears from twitter that she has a hip problem

Lauryn J-B is so close to getting in the main draw that there may well be a second wildcard to allocate.

Slightly strange that Alisha gets a wildcard up in Sheffield when she's based in the south, at JTC, I believe.

I note too that, to the best of my knowledge, Kasia Pitak (for instance) has never received a single wildcard.

And yet she is also a junior.

And thrashed Alisha last time they played (which is not a criticism of Alisha who has an attractive enough game).

Of course, it is possible that she's never asked for one (although it seems unlikely)

But.....
