Agree with them. Alex is in good form. I really dont know who else you would have given them too. With 3 more still to be announced surely gives an incentive to others on the boarder line.

Can see Brydan getting one if he can prove his fitness with a good run at Ilkley this week.

Doubles ones for Evo/Glasspool, the Skupskis, Klein/AWard and Marray/Adil Shamasdin

(Thank god not a wasted one for JWard)

Qualifying singles WCs to Corrie, Glasspool and the two play-off winners at the moment

Exciting for Lloyd to get a dubs WC (with Dan Evans)

Also, Brydan & Alex

the Skupskis

and Jonnie Marray with Shamasdin

PS agree with Dustin and Stepanek too in the singles.

You would think Brydan will get a MD WC if he has one into dubs and isnt on the initial QWC List

Wasn't there something about Brydan Klein not being eligible for Wimbledon WCs when he first came over? I thought he'd said he wouldn't seek them ... or am I misremembering? (The doubles one wouldn't count, presumably, as Alex Ward is also British).

Not sure that Andy Murray will be thrilled to know that Radek Stepanek is in the draw, but it's a good choice. I'd also assume that every grass tournament that can get him will want Dustin Brown, who's now at 87 anyway.

And really hoping for a good draw and a great experience for the GB "team"

Possible that Klein eventually gets a wild card and one is obviously on hold for the winner of Ilkley (if they need it). After that we might be looking at the next players on the acceptance list.

Brydan doesn't need a QWC since he's in anyway based on his ranking of 228 when the qualifying list came out.

He was rather made to wait last year for a MD WC, but as Brendan said he did get one. Maybe bit more understandable this year with him having been out for a while until recently, but yes could well end up with one.

I thought Jonny O' Mara would have received a QWC

I didn't and to me that's fair enough at this stage. Progressing well though and good luck to him in the play-offs assuming he takes part. He certainly can play in them on ranking.

There's a lot of space and flexibility left for Q wildcards - unusually so, from recollection of previous years.

I do so hope they use them and don't just give them to next in the queue players.

Personally, I would give one to Jay Clarke - on the basis that there should be a rule that the top youngster gets a Q wildcard every year (I'd like to for Ryan too, but top youngster would have to be top youngster: anything else seems to be pushing it). For the girls, obviously, this is fine as Katie has hers anyway.

Definitely Dan Smethurst. On the post-injury and playing well theory. Dan Cox almost makes the same argument.

Four from the play-offs.

And anyone else who makes a good argument - let them all stand before the committee and put their case - most passionate and best jokes wins
