Good for Evan to get some decent court time. Now go and qualify.

Evan lost the first set 2 - 6 but has just leveled the match by taking the second 7 - 5

But yes, haven't you heard - it was all part of the new pay increase proposals - hidden down in the small print smile

(Sorry, 7-5 4-6 6-1 . . .)

Of course, it was all just training so he could get through and qualify today - third time lucky - well done Evan.

The 'bad' luck, though, is that Evan and Andy B have got drawn together in the MD. (On the other hand, that's a point for one of them, and points are not easy to come by. And most of the Q spots were against top seeds - Q places against the 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th, 7th seeds).

But, as said above, it's a pretty good draw really, considering all the other Q spots for Evan (which are horrid) and that Andy needs all the points he can get too.
