Tough draw for Dasha, Laura must have a chance and Savannah couldn't have wished for a better draw - must be half a chance of picking up a point.

Savannah keeps missing breaks points throughout the second set, and drops it 6-4.

Savannah was 2-4 down but has since levelled the 3rd set at 4-4, only to go 2 bps down again.

Pribylova breaks and serves for the match. Savannah gets to 0-30 then 15-40 and breaks back She has now taken 9 out of 19 break points, the Russian 9 out of 14.

You can probably guess what happened next 1 more bp saved but the next was taken and Savannah will have to receive to stay in the match again.

That elusive first WTA point turns out to be one that got away

L32: (8) Laura Deigman WR 876 beat (WC) Wang Ziyu (CHN) UNR (17yo) by 1 & 0
L32: (WC) Savannah Sills UNR lost to (Q) Anna Pribylova (RUS) UNR (16yo junior WR 442) by 4-6 6-4 7-5
L32: Danielle Konotoptseva WR 854 lost to (3) Vojislava Lukic (SRB) WR 509 (CH 203 in 2007) by 2 & 1

L16: (8) Laura Deigman WR 876 v Karolina Benacková (CZE) UNR (16yo)

I haven't looked at the rest of the draw in detail, but the end of the year seems to have brought back the exceptionally weak 10Ks here if Laura's draw is anything to go by! Hopefully she can take full advantage

Laura+ did well against the second seeds to caom back and take the second set 7-5, after losing the first 3-6. But then lost the MTB 10-8 :(
