Like Kyle in Traralgon, JoKo draws the 2nd seed in R1:

L32: Johanna Konta WR 141 v (2) Pauline Parmentier (FRA) WR 79 (CH 40 in 2008)

H2H 0-1 but very close - Parmentier won 7-5 in the 3rd on clay in Saint-Gaudens in May this year.

The draw here is almost as ridiculously overstuffed as the Osprey $50K after the first week of Miami each year.
$100K's are often less competitive, and quite a few WTA internationals too.

The New Braunfels, & Toronto $50K events this week are much kinder (For the higher ranked players swarming here, the +H only really makes a significant difference to the finalists points).

She more or less was was but the drop came in mid-September when her 80 Guangzhou WTA Q+QF points came off - she fell 15 places from 119 to 134 that week. An even bigger drop (from 90 to 123) came at the start of August when her Winnipeg 25K and Vancouver 100K title points (190 altogether) came off.
