Danny Manlow is almost certainly in the MD.

Tom Hill is also in the Q acceptance list, no 13, but doesn't show up in the Q draw so, just maybe, is direct entry or has a WC.  

Four rounds of qualifying:

 

QR1:  Christopher  Helliar UNR  v (wc) Errol Smith (USA)  

QR1:  Ryan James Storrie UNR  v  Beau Pelletier (USA) UNR age 15

 

Ryan is the youngster, age 16, who has his own thread in the general topics, as a possible new 'big hope', living out in CA, doing his thing, but not able to play many tournaments as he doesn't have a green card. But turned up at the US juniors and qualified and put out the ITF WR 100 or so player in the first round.

Chris Helliar had a junior ranking high of 282 and is (was? has just graduated?) a UAB senior and, in May, was the No. 80 in the country in the latest ITA (Intercollegiate Tennis Association) singles rankings and named the Conference USA Men's Tennis Athlete of the Wee.

Special congrats to 16 year-old Ryan (our new 'outsider' young hope?) who - playing his first ITF adult event, I believe - beat the WR 1577.
