Antonia (+1) wins in doubles R1 6-4 6-7(3) [10-7]
Faces the top seeds next.

As far as I can make out, that's a first ever pro point for her in either singles or doubles.
So, very well done.

um, I don't think you get any points for doubles until the semis . . .

I think this is the right place to look (?): http://www.itftennis.com/procircuit/players/ranking-points.aspx

Edit: Hmm, looking at the note at the bottom, maybe not a point then confuse

Edit: At the very least, I'm pretty sure it's her first MD win of any kind

I think that they get 2 points for reaching the doubles QFs, the same as for a singles QF.

It looks to me that the bottom note is just making clear ( but not very ! ) that for the L16 in doubles ( essentially R1 ) you just get the L32 singles R1 points ( 0 for a 10K ), but are thereafter awarded the same.

I believe the no points until reaching the SFs just applies to nen's futures events.

Sorry, Ali - my bad ! (ducks head and hides the onslaught) - men only.

yep, that is about as clear as mud but, as you, sounds like 2 points.

Which is good ::))
