NB Note that Eleanor Dean was on the acceptance list but hasn't figured in the MD so must have withdrawn very late.

She did - on the full drawsheet on the TennisEurope site, it shows her as being replaced by a lucky loser. Hopefully the fact she left it so late means she wasn't too far off recovering from whatever ailed her last week.

Yes, the ideal would be that she was quite close to playing, but has given it more time. I think she maybe plays sometimes when she shouldn't really, but having missed so much...

Our girls currently getting rather taken to the cleaners in the doubles:

Jazzamay+ is 0-6 0-2 down

Dommie+ is 1-6 down

Eden+ is 3-3

But, then, the first two are playing the second and third seeds. And Eden and Laine are fourth seeds, so they're supposed to do better :)

In the doubles QF;

Jazzamay and Maetschke lost 6-0 6-3

Dommie and Aponasenko lost 6-1 6-2

BUT Eden and Laine won 7-6(5) 6-2

Into the semis . . .
