Playing in Quito is hard enough with the altitude.

Playing a pure clay courter South American ranked 700 places higher than you, close to their CH, in Quito, in August, in your first ITF outside of the UK... well, that'll be some story if she can get the result.

Anna is based in the USA now, I think at Bolletieris.  She has been in the USA since she left Bath about 18mths ago.

Yesterday, Anna, partnered with Jessica Gololvin (no relation to Tatiana), lost a tight match in the doubles to the Argentine third seeds: 7-6(3) 2-6 [8-10]
