Josh Goodall coaching

For anyone who has not seen Josh's website, there is a very good blog about his coaching with Harry and his new job.

www.joshuagoodall.com

Definitely worth a read for anyone who is not aware of Josh's coaching.

Josh Goodhall says that he's thinking of setting up his own tennis academy in Basingstoke next year.

Early days but good luck, Josh.

Josh has published a very good Q & A session on his facebook page.  An interesting read.

Good to see him planting his flag and applying his expertise to help others along that arduous journey.

I see that Josh G has quit as coach at Downe House. He's leaving tennis and moving onto pastures completely new. Good luck to him.

But Dave Rice and Dan Cox, and - I think - Marcus Willis - have all been involved in the coaching down there recently, especially over the half-term holiday.

In fact, it looks like Dan Cox and Dave will be in charge of the performance girls on a more permanent basis.

Would think they would still have plenty of time for their professional pro tennis careers, if it had been arranged that way. But all depends on the details, I guess .....

Josh Has indeed left us for pastures new, To have a tennis player of his experience, knowledge and skill on our coaching team was amazing, to manage to persuade him in the first place was a victory for all concerned with Downe House. he will continue in an ambassador role and will remain a key member of the DH Tennis family.

We are now fortunate enough to have the coaching service and professional tennis knowhow of Messier's Cox, Rice, Pauffley and Willis to advise and assist all our students. they will all continue their pro careers and work in a rotation basis around their tournament commitments.

To be able to assist and support British Tennis players is something we are very proud of and so far the system and programme we have in place seems to suit everyone concerned.
