RE: Week 10 - Australia F3 ($15,000) - Mildura (Grass)

... and now into his first SF of the year ...

QF: (4) Brydan Klein WR 426 beat (8) Gavin van Peperzeel (AUS) WR 549 (CH 545 in Feb) by 0 & 4

SF: (4) Brydan Klein WR 426 v (6) Dane Propoggia (AUS) WR 461 (CH 339 in Jun)

H2H 5-2, though Propoggia has won 2 of their last 3 meetings. However, Brydan won their last one in 3 sets in Izmir last year.

I assume he just likes playing on grass. As things stand, on Monday week, nearly 1/3 of his points will have come from the 2 Nottingham Challengers and Manchester Futures last summer plus this event.

Well, it'll help keep him in Bob in Spain's top 500 which is (for me) the main cause of interest!

Re Fed, been an absolute joy to watch him on the tennis court over so many years.

I really do hope he has one more Wimbledon singles final in him and that he and Stan can be part of a Swiss Davis Cup semi final team...

...only to meet their match with Andy Murray and GB !

Seriously, retaining Wimbledon beating Fed in the final would be so great for Andy, partly for avenging previous Slam finals but I am sure much more for the sheer honour of beating the legend in a final on "his court".

I could've deleted it, Indy, but could see no way of moving it.  May I suggest that you copy & paste it into the correct thread, then I'll delete the offending post. wink
