Picked this up from another board but thought it worth posting on here too - an article from the scotsman:

For some reason I couldn't copy and paste the link so have written it out. 

One thing I would like to take issue with:

"I was practising and I did something to my index finger," she explained. "I thought I'd maybe damaged a tendon, and I got an MRI scan.

"It ended up being just a bruised bone or something like that, but I still had to take four or five days off. Apparently when you're old your white blood cell count goes down and you become more susceptible to injury."

Apparently when you are old - isn't she 25? hmm

Quite an interesting chat with Bally and Nino which has gone on for the whole hour interspersed with music and other stuff - she now says she is aiming to be back in March/April.

She never stops being handed out huge challenges - no doubt she'll meet this one head-on too.

Bally's a fighter, but this must be awful for her and her family. Stay positive and all the best in the future.

This is such terrible news. Life just isn't fair sometimes.

I have no doubt that Bally will take on this challenge with all the attributes she brought to her tennis - determination, fighting spirit, self belief and a never give up attitude. Let's hope that one more time, we will be able to see the following match details.

Im really struggling to digest this news. When you are a fan of a player you are not just invested in them as an athlete, but as a person too.

Its like hearing news about a friend.

Bally you will do this. I know you will. You have overcome so much, lets pull one more victory out the bag.
