Ryan is still appearing as alt 25 for Newport main draw, not qualifying though.

A shame there are no post-Wimbledon grass tournaments for Women.

I'd like to see a few lower level grass tournaments pre Wimbledon next year with a qWC available for the best performing Brit. I think a WC offered on that basis would produce a better outcome in qualifying than the one offered for tournaments earlier in the year on a different surface.

Hi Seagull - thanks for doing these . Can I ask a question over how you allocate them. If we take Anton, the itf site shows him as 2nd listed in qualifying for Roehampton. And he is listed as somewhere down in the 20s for France. So it seems hes higher and more likely to get into Roehampton. But youve put him against France - has he expressed some preference for France you are reflecting ?

If you go to ITF entries and check Anton's entry list you will see that France is his first preference, followed by Germany and Roehampton. Much easier to find than going through the tournaments.

And second question - where do you draw the line for who you list and dont. As mentioned Darts shows Newport on Ryans schedule as alt 25 I think - is he too low down for you to list, Seagull, or is Darts actually incorrect in listing him still?

Sorry for all the questions and Im sure youve answered these before!

I'd like to know how that site gets its data? I'm not aware of any non-commercial API and the ITF blocks web scrapers.

 Hi Jon

Completely random!  If there are players that I think will get into qualifying after withdrawals I list them. But its only really when the final lists come out the following week that the entries are completely accurate.

Slightly baffled as to why Jodie and Eden going off to play on clay.

Also concerned Eden is switching up to 100/60k so soon. She has had a good year, but the upcoming 25ks could be her chance to break into to the top 300. Playing 60k qualies on a surface she rarely plays on is less likely to do that.

Ryan still seems to be in as alt 25 for Newport. However, he is now a DA for the following week in a challenger in Spain and then entered as an alt for Atlanta. Which would be a strange schedule - to the USA, back to Spain and then straight back to USA in consecutive weeks. Presumably one or more of those will give.
