Anyone know what happened to Serena Nash ? She went to college at the same time as Holly H and Emily Arb, but I haven't seen her name anywhere for ages.

She spent a year at Oklahoma and then transferred to Missouri (same University as Bronte Murgett). She was a senior in 2019-20 ,  used the extra year of eligibility to do a graduate certificate program, so should graduate now

Thanks. I watched all three play in the British Tour at Felixstowe just before they left for college.

Thank you for updating Cya. Even with this small sample size tennis seems to have a relatively high number of transfers, (not counting 5th year/grad transfers).

Student-athletes transfer less often than their nonathlete peers (Gallup, 2020), but there are some sports in which athlete transfer rates may exceed those for nonathletes (e.g., mens basketball, tennis).

Yes, assuming  the Extra Year seniors will be graduating along with this years seniors- will be interesting to see how many of this years graduates take advantage of a 5th year....

The Pitak sisters have taken a somewhat different route to American uni - Ola and Kasia Pitak have both signed for University of Alabama (Southeastern conference) as graduate transfers from the College of Linguistics in Czestochowa, Poland and will combine tennis with a masters in business admin.

Head coach Jenny Mainz: "We are very enthusiastic about Ola and Kasia Pitak joining us this fall. They bring a wealth of experience and maturity to our team. We're optimistic that they will make a significant impact for our program and provide more depth to our lineup."

Ola was a strong junior, and it will be interesting to see where they're at after a significant time away from the competitive courts (or a least ITF ones)

From FB, Loughborough looking to attract post-grads who have done a degree in the US. IMO the UTR is pretty high considering the Corona situation; not sure how Luffs can offer as many opportunities to play as the US colleges but would be an interesting proposition for an international looking to spend a couple of years at a UK uni.....

Hello Coaches & Players,
I am the Head Coach at Loughborough Univeristy, England.
We have some great opportunities for players to complete a Post-graduate degree over 1 or 2 years after finishing their degrees in America.
Academic & Sports Scholarships are available, with a base level of 12.5 UTR Men and 10.5 UTR Women.
If you have anyone interested please contact me:
