Looking at the tennis forum and the  alleged list of WTA players in quarantine  it would be a shorter list of top players not in quarantine. Going down the world rankings excluding those who never set off Bertens , and those in Adelaide Barty, Halep, Osaka and Serena and whether  Kenin is or is not   in quarantine the highest ranked player not in quarantine is Johanna Konta. As Heather in now in quarantine how have our  other players Katie B, and Fran got to Melbourne?.

Correction Petra Kvitova is higher ranked than Jo and is not quarantined.

What about Svitolina, Pliskova and Sabalenka ?

No those 3 were on one of the planes from Abu Dhabi that had a positive test from somebody on the plane. So therefore  in  quarantine, Remember Jo was initially on the list for Abu Dhabi  but pulled out, otherwise she might have travelled on one of the affected planes.

I've since read there was more than 1 plane from Abu Dhabi at roughly the same time and Pliskova and Sabalenka might have been on that plane so not quarantined for 14 days.

Also, I think Svitolina was on a flight earlier than the problem one - she posted videos from her room before this news broke

Weve got confirmation that some locked down AO players have been breaching the rules in quarantine. They face big fines.

I did read somewhere about  Svitolina  having a room near Jo. Would not be in tbe hotel if she had been on the affected plane. There is an alleged list on the tennis forum some of which Is definitely correct and maybe speculation as they work out who the 24 players are.

Well if they breach the rules they won't be taking part in any tennis. The rules and consequences of breaking them was made clear to all the players.Judging by the problems in Holding the tennis can one imagine the Olympic games taking place

Another flight from Doha has had a positive test. May mainly relate to men qualifers. Novak Djokovic sounds like a Union Rep. with his demands for his players.

re Tokyo -  It wont and cant , matter of time.

re AO , they need to be strict around rules - rule breakers get thrown out, no 2nd chance. Anyone proving positive after a certain point gets withdrawn, tough on them but thats life. As someone said, they get 100k guaranteed  , they can follow the rules . They are privileged and need to act like it.

Novaks demands for the players show that he really doesn't have a clue, meanwhile he is still not wearing a mask in the van as per rules.
