How many British wins will we get at US Open 2019?

So time everyone has waited for. Will follow up with some stats later but here is the poll , what do we all think? Hard to be too excited coming in, but you never know!

Note, mixed doubles ARE included in this, just main draw events though, no qualies or juniors.

Also note that a doubles win counts as one point regardless of whether there are one or two players in the pair from GB

 Eventually bowed to the pressure!!

Anyway, here are some back history stats:

Counting all 5 forms of the game in the main draw: recent non Wimbledon performances. (counting doubles as a single win, ie Murray and Skupski equals 1, Salisbury and Ram also equals 1)

US Open 2015 - 21 wins (a good year, and above my 19 plus this time!)

US Open 2016 - 23 wins (another good year and above my 19 plus this time!)

US Open 2017 - 12 wins, a big fall from the previous years.

US Open 2018 - 13 wins

Australian Open 2019 - 18 wins

French Open 2019 - 13 wins

So it seems our norm is around 12-13 but pushing to highs just above the 19 plus. But we also seem to be entering this years US Open with less form than recently across the piece...

Average over last 4 US Open events is 17.25 wins

Average over last 3 non Wimbledon slams is 14.67 wins.

Maybe something in 14-17 range as a prediction for those wishing to go with recent history??!

Going for sweet 16 for no reason whatsoever.

It's all going to depend on our men's doubles pairs really...

I have gone higher too... simply on the basis that if we don't get a few players into the second week, whether singles or doubles, this is not going to be a very interesting US Open, which means I have no interest in being proved right with a low estimate!

Randomly selected 12. Decided to take off my "19 plus" rose tinted spectacles on this occasion, just for a change.

Semi-pessimistic here - as Michael said it depends on the men's doubles as I doubt if their will be much joy in the singles. So I've gone for 11.

On the singles side, there is no Andy, Kyle is struggling for form, Evo is without a coach and Cam is not burning it up right now. On the women's side, we only have Jo (unless we get some through qualies), so I am not expecting many wins in singles at all.

Apologies to the mods if this should have appeared in tennis predictions. However, can I make one comment before someone moves it. When we did that for the Wimbledon polls. grass court polls, they numbers of views fell off a lot. I don't think as many forum members would venture to the predictions section. They get a lot more attention here in general.

I am probably biased, but if at all possible I would ask if this one can remain here. If someone (I wont say a pedant!) wishes to move this poll, however, I wont argue, just be a little disappointed!

No idea who had the idea to move them to the predictions section last time. But who ever it was, I would blame him wink

I couldnt remember who it was Bob, and to be honest, it makes sense from a purist perspective, just in reality I think it got a little lost!

Maybe move it to the predictions section a couple of weeks after the event finishes? So, for reference, people can find it easily? But leave it here during the US Open if more people see it and access it here?

OK - moving on - onto serious business - no Andy so that's a lot of wins to take off from other years. And the doubles all bombed at Wimbly. And no wildcard dubs to give an unexpected run.

So....I'm going for 8
