 It would surely give him much more chance. The bone clearly needs rest and apparently the sooner you put stress on it again you are taking a risk. He seems to me to be playing with fire in seemingly looking to go as soon as he thinks he is ready. I do think Jack should at least call it quits for this year.

Draper was outside of the main draw cut-off for the US Open, which starts on August 30, and so he will need to come through qualifying if he does not receive a wild card.
