Looks like 2 more in the door this week. Tyler Adams (RB Leipzig) is apparently on his way to Leeds for a medical. US International who has played for Marsch before and will fill the gaping hole left by the departure of Kalvin Phillips.  crycry

Perhaps even more exciting is the likelihood of Sinisterra from Feyenoord.  Yep. I had never heard of him either, until a couple of days ago, but he looks like the next Raphinha.

Supposedly both will be signed up and on the plane for the pre-season tour down under on Thursday.

Tyler Adams confirmed. £20m on a five year deal.

Five new signings in already and more to come. Completely new team.

Anything could happen. One of the key factors is that two of the central midfield signings have both played for Marsch before which should make it easier to adapt to new the playing style.

OK. forget all this politics stuff and lets get down to the important things.

Leeds have made ANOTHER signing. Sinisterra has been announced. Huge young talent according to youtube. Columbian international winger. Direct replacement for Raphinha, who nay not be leaving after all.

Exciting times.

Policy seems to be that all we need now is back up for Bamford. Looking at various with Charles de Ketelaere being our number 1 target, although he is pushing for a move to AC Milan. Arnaud Kalimuendo of PSG has also been touted.

I think Leeds are over-compensating for loaning their best player out to Millwall wink

No option to buy was crucial. We will want him back

Charlie will be a starting CB for Leeds in a year or two and probably a future LUFC Captain.  Will be great to see him getting some game time. He is an absolute beast in the making.

4-0 win over Blackpool this evening in our first (public) pre-season friendly.

Very young squad out although with some regular 1st team players. Apparently the star of the show was 16 year old Archie Gray. This kid is going to be a superstar. But when your name is Gray and you play for Leeds, isn't that your destiny. He is from that very same illustrious Gray family.

He goes to the school just 800 yards from my house, which my kids went to (at least the shared sixth form).

Some reliable sources saying Raphinha to Barcelona is now going through for £63m.

Happy with that. Now we just have to spend it wisely.

Well, it's done. Raphinha is official a Barcelona player.  I wish him well and hope he gets to live his dream.

But it's a sad day for Leeds. Possibly the best player we have had since the days of Eddie Gray etc.

Bob quickly hunts the La Liga fixture list to see when Barcelona are playing in his region of Spain.

Will never forget that day that Raphinha effectively ended Gary Cahill's career.  wink

As they say, thanks for the memories.

Just loaned you another one.  Jamie Shackleton signs a loan deal with Millwall. Solid player and quite versatile.  Will be interesting to see if he plays at RB where he has filled in for Leeds or whether he plays his preferred position in CM.

Agreed Bob, we seem to have good 1st choices in these positions so this one has surprised us a bit, he wont be here to sit on the bench!

Another one now in the door for Leeds too. Sonny Perkins - 18 yo - who walked away from West Ham. England youth international as a striker and apparently very talented. While some of our senior signings have been questionable, our youth recruitment has been excellent.
