Ranking sweepstakes?

I presume this would be the place to put this. Obviously different people have different opinions of how Andy will do in the rankings this year. Maybe we can turn it into some kind of competition? The prize being the satisfaction of being a lucky know-all. What entry ranking will Andy finish at the end of the year? One pick each - first come first served. Once a pick is gone, it's gone. Obviously delete this if something similar is knocking about somewhere else.

I'll go for 28.

Can I suggest that No more entries allowed after a certain point...say end April. And then at the end of June people are allowed one revision to their guess.

I think Andy can win at least one more ATP title this year and get into 4 or 5 semis/finals also. I think this puts him into range of the high teens.


Therefore its 19 for me !!

OK, my carefully calculated    predictions give Andy 1235 points for this year, which on the current rankings would put him in 27th place, but that's gone.

It'll be a long tough season, quite a lot of points to defend 2nd half, so I think he'll do well to consolidate inside top 40.

Drew,  yes,  might be idea to have another comp based on new guesses, say just prior to Wimbledon, for year end ranking.


However, that comp would run alongside the original comp rather than a 'revision',  because I think it will still be very interesting ( actually more interesting ! ) to see who was best with guess made in March.


I think existing competition should have closure before Andy plays his first match at Miami.


For instance, it would probably slightly help someone with their ranking guess if they can wait until after Andy wins Miami tournament
