Murray in 3. loses the first 2-6..takes the next 6-4 and wins the tiebreak 3rd 7-6. murray screams, beats his chest and tells the press conference to kiss his scottish ass.

Ok, I have voted that he will do it in 3 as well. At least this time I will be able to check how I have voted when I forget!

I have just checked the tournament factsheet - play for the final is 3pm, so 11pm here - I will definitely not miss this one!!

I wonder if the Beeb will show at least recorded highlights sometime like they did for Bangkok?  I don't have Eurosport, so I hope somebody here is going to commentate!

What a confidence boosting win for Murray!!This is his first victory in three attempts to beat a top 10 player. He came close when facing Ivan last time and this time he even beat Roddick, world no.3,in straight set. However, I have a feeling that Murray may have some problem when facing Hewitt in the start of the final. So, Murray in three is my option

Had he not had 3 matches in the last two days i would've said he'd take this in 2 sets (if he played at his best). At the moment i feel he can probably beat anyone in the world bar 3 people. Federer, Safin and Gonzalez (not so much the last). Federer is just too good and the same with safin (although he did take a set off safin, but it was more Safin's level dropping than Murray playing well). Fernando Gonzalez seems to have too much power for Murray and i can't see him winning without Gonzalez playing badly. BUT against hewitt i think he's got the game to beat him. I reckon it'll be a three setter with Hewitt taking it 6-3 in the decider (thats what my head says) but i will predict a 3 set victory for Murray.

I've gone for Murray in three, his performance last night has taught me to be optimistic! Love the poll options again stagger, thanks (particularly like the both redcarded one, will anyone vote for it?!)

Can i second Madeline's plea for commentary as I don't have access to Eurosport either. I hope everyone stays up tonight for the fun!

I'm glad that I have Eurosport, so I can watch it live. However, I am really annoyed that 5-live aren't commentating on the match live; they're only showing the progress in sports bulletins, so you can look out for that.

I just realised that before the Roddick match, Murray said that Roddick was favourite and that he didn't expect to win. Whenever Murray said that he more often than not does well.

So, he's saying this again about Hewitt, so I;m expecting Murray to give a good showing of himself.

isnt that what he always says when faced with a player ranked higher?

Yes.  It is just common sense - he can hope to win against a higher-ranked player, but not expect.

It is interesting when you read reports of interviews, then listen to a recording of the interview itself. The reports make it sound as if he is volunteering this type of information, but if you listen to the interviews, it is being dragged/forced out of him by the interviewer.

Went for Hewitt in 3 - I just think he returns so much better than Roddick and as such will have an easier time on Andy's serve. Needless to say, I am hoping to be proved completely wrong. :)

I know that is very good.

In England the half term of pretty much all schools was last week but my school was this week meaning i can stay up and watch the match tonight. i have been very annoyed not being on half term last week but being able to watch Andy against hewitt in an ATP Final makes up for it.

Hahaha, stagger you are priceless. The poll options are brilliant, did you vote for the red card one ?

I can imagine the headlines if Murray did say that in his post-match pre-conference, it'd be so funny - eg: "Murray sells media a bum deal !"

My prediction, Murray to beat Hewitt 6-3, 7-5
