A good set of results, isn't it Lamar has qualified for a Futures main draw for the first time at his 16th attempt with a career best ranking scalp.

Seven out of eight of the qualifiers are Brits - and even the Swede, Sam Taylor, is half-British, I think I read somewhere (hence the name).

Brilliant haul

A 'surprise' wildcard goes to Dan Martin.

Jack, Andy W and Anton were pretty much certs.

No wildcard for Lloyd Glasspool.

Hi CD - I see a Frenchman called Crepatte is top seed, any inside info on him? If Jack Draper wins round one, then they could clash...

Crepatte, as far as I know, is a bit of a journeyman sort of top 500 player. Pretty decent, no junior ranking (which is not unusual) but nothing to be scared about - nearly all his points come from 15ks, Glasspool beat him in three sets earlier this year, he says that his weak point is the mental side of the game, and that he far prefers team tennis (with a coach) so that might be something to bear in mind, Ryan P (and maybe Draper too, if he beats Tiran)

Wow, super stuff guys. Those home futures seem quite a good idea ...

Strange one re Lloyd. I guess with him if he was looking for a singles WC we might well hear about it.

He's down for the Portugal future next week rather than Barnstaple.

Who are we thinking may take the title this week?

I'm tempted to back Draper to make in two in two but I think the amount of matches may catch up to him.

I reckon this could be Loffhagen's week if he can get past another tough 1st round draw.

I think Andrew Watson will fancy his chances of coming through the bottom half of the draw for consecutive finals but the top half is more stacked and a lot harder to call.

Early doors , Crepatte is 5-0 up on Peniston. And Loffhagen is 3-1 down a break to Robert

Jack seems to have an excellent 'mentale' (hence, the clutch moments and the third-set TB stat that Indy pointed out)

But normally you'd expect a yougnster who had such a stellar week last week to have a bit of a slump this week, for mental as well as physical reasons.

The two pesky top seeds might be a problem this week (Ollert did well last week too, only just losing to Jack) ....

The aforementioned M Crepatte is looking pretty good at the minute. Hopefully he will burn himself out.
