Interesting match. Arango is a decent prospect and she performed well at the Bogota Open a few months ago, reaching the QFs beating Royg on the way so I was surprised to see EWS start out the favourite in this match. However, I've just seen her recent results and since her 2nd round win at that event and she is 1-9 and most of those defeats have been in straight sets, a few decent players faced in that period but also a few who I've not heard of and I guess that's why EWS started as favourite.

Emily was more competitive in that 6th game but is now on the brink of going 0-6 0-1 down.

Katy retires at that point
That seems a weird juncture for it.
She needs a pick me up.
Best wishes.

Despite winning the title here in 2015 & 2016, with Naomi then Laura, we also don't have some great luck here in Landisville.
Both Katy & EWS retired here today, and also remembering Tara's misfortune here against Laura in 2016.

Edit: JoKo also RET here in 2013, and Naomi in 2014. What is it about Pennsylvania and Brits? Either feast or famine it seems.
