Aptos Qualies  doesn't seem to be streamed - but the timings of the Brit's matches has not been good for UK spectators of late.  Hopefully this will change next week!

Alex gets the early break in the 2nd and consolidates - he leads 3-0.

Finally some points for Alex and a chance in the MD. Let's hope Evo can follow suit.

Interesting musical chairs there...

Do you think Jonny and Luke split to be able to get into the draw?   Stupid question - clearly not looking at the opponent's ranking.

Dan's loss is a bit concerning. His "victory" in the previous round against a guy ranked 900 also looked fortunate, with his opponent having already played that day.   I hope he can tun things around soon.

There are no Brits on today's order of play.

Disappointing for Dan. His comeback has definitely stalled. He won 2 early breaks in the first set, and was ahead after the second break, but couldn't keep it. His 2nd serve stats 9/26 = 35% were poor throughout the match. In return, after those two early breaks in Saville's 2nd and 3rd service games, Dan did not manufacture another BP the entire match. In short, he wasn't at the sharp end at all.

Definitely concerning but maybe predictable. Hadn't trained before comeback, wave of excitement maybe dragged him through, perhaps a touch of reality has hit him mentally and lack of fitness physically. Needs some care and support perhaps

Grass isn't the most physically demanding surface (plus not everyone knows how to move on it), so maybe he relied on his hands and skill to win matches on it. Possibly now he's on a more even surface the lack of physical conditioning is catching up with him?

Well done to Alex.

I don't know what to make of Dan, he's had a good run at the USO, so can clearly play on hard. Conditioning, head space, or did Luke just play a blinder? There are a lot of Aussies at that tounny, and they're not exactly the quietest supporters.

JonH said before comeback, which was well publicized. I expect he is training now, but just how hard and well, who knows.
