First pro event for Kimberly Alinafe Mpukusa as GBR - she has always been ZIM before this, including when she played in this event last year, and in both Wirral and Sunderland last October.
Welcome aboard Ms. Mpukusa

O'Dea Alison is playing Kimberley.

That sounds a bit odd. confused.gif

Some super results here: you can only beat what's in front of you. Also the MD shake-out looks pretty favourable for some points.

Apart from Sasha, that's an excellent lots of one-point chances for the British girls, you couldn't ask for better.

Taro may struggle to get that point as will Sasha, but would expect the rest to make the 2nd round.

Taro will probable get thrashed but it's still pretty much about the best chance of a one-pointer you could get.

Amelia is not a strong contender either.

And she may be the top seed but Emily App may well not find it plain sailing either - Olga made the final of the 15k in Spain last week or the week before

Tiff is leading 6-4 3-1*

Taro did great to come back from 1-4 down (I think) in the first to take the first set 6-4

Then immediately went 0-2 down again, before breaking to put it back on serve,

Amelia has just started her match also and is an early break down

WC Julie Byrne IRL *1-0 Q Amelia Stuart GBR

Good to see Amy Bowtell back in action - and taking her opening set vs. LL Uberoi 6-0 - only her second tournament in nearly two years due to injury.
