What's happening in Emma's game? The score is showing a whupping.

Raducanu? Looks like it's *3-1 to Dart, but Google scores isn;t showing that game.

Emma with a BP now.

Katy is deserving of a WC in my view. Under the old rule she'd have been given one and I think she should get a shot.

She would have been considered for one. There has never been an absolute ranking vs MD WC link up although top 250 was certainly an important part of the criteria. Essentially it was top 250, or possibly lower for young players, plus some other subjective stuff re attitude etc, though to be fair Katy should be good for these, to qualify for a possible MD WC. Yes, a likely one, but especially with the chance of strong non Brit candidates, including ITF grass winners, and if more than usual British candidates, there was no guarantee.

Emma's playing well - it's on the LTA site on livestream.

Harriet had the slight edge in the first two games but nothing in the next three. She's very impressive.

Beth has taken the first set 6-3 against Eden. Beth has a lot more courtcraft than Vicki and is causing Eden problems. However, Beth can lose from many a position so I doubt the match is over yet.

If Beth wins she will move ahead of Eden and Emily which will be important for pre-qualifying seedings.

Plus ahead of Sam and Jodie, up to GB #12.

Harriet just had a nasty looking fall on the last point of the eighth game. Trainer is with her

Helen, you're welcome !

Re Katy, I agree with PaulM (and others) but I rather fear that Ace Ventura might be right.

At Surbiton, Harriet made the semis. Gabi beat a top 100 player. KB basically did too. Katie S was practically the same.

Naomi has the ranking which is a lot closer than the others.

But Katy D hasn't really got anything to show on paper.

Beth served for it at 5-2.

But now 5-4

Second attempt....

Harriet seems to be having a strop about line calls again....

Poor Beth. It's true that Eden loosened up a bit and started playing a little better. But Beth was two points away from a big win, and just tightened up (as she always does).....

Eden now leading 6-5

Eden broke again, and has indeed won 10 points in a row, to go 6-5* up in the second set vs Beth.
