Australian Open Predictions - men

I thought it might be interesting to see who predicts who in the AO. Top 18 seeds listed, plus Kyle as the lone Brit, plus a more general others for those who see a real outsider stealing!

I am not so sure, delpo gets my vote. Nothing more than gut feel and if it wasnt him it would have been Nick K.

Ive gone for Dimitrov - think it might be his time to go right through a grand slam draw.

Well, as we end the day before play starts, out of 15 votes, Federer received almost half of the votes.

Dimitrov, Del Potro and Kyle Edmund received 2 each.

Fair to say, Federer goes into this as the favourite based on the poll. Personally, I hope those who voted for Kyle are proven correct!

Strong start. Only 6 more matches to go.

None of the predictions have been beaten today, although djoko and Stan both got good comfortable wins in their first matches back
Raonic lost though

Each of Nadal, Federer (playing now), Dimitrov (struggled yesterday), Del Potro (injured?) and Edmund still going strong (as the only tips made by folks on the forum).

...Goffin went out today of course, 7th seed, although not tipped here. And Big Sam fell as well.

Djoko seems to have come back well, decent win over Monfils, could have been tricky. Stan is close to being demolished by Tenys Sandgren. Anyone for Tenys?...

So, all those tipped on here still survive into the last 24.

One that wasn't tipped is Nick Kyrgios - seriously good match with Tsonga today. I'd LOVE for Kyrgios to win this, (if Kyle doesnt ) whether he can is another small matter!
