Meanwhile, in the main draw, Jo has a horrid draw for the opening match of her season.
This draw is pretty stacked though; there's very little easing in for anyone in the field.

R32: Johanna KONTA (GBR) [5] 9 v. Madison KEYS (USA) 19 (CH 7, Oct. 2016)
H2H 1-1
2016 Beijing, China - Premier Mandatory - Hard - SF, Konta 7-6(1) 4-6 6-4
2010 Bayamon, Puerto Rico - $25K - Hard - SF, Keys 7-5 RET

And, in the doubles, it doesn't get any easier:
R16: Johanna KONTA/Elina SVITOLINA (GBR/UKR) 724 (285 + 439) v. Kiki BERTENS/Demi SCHUURS (NED/NED) 63 (19 + 44)
R16: (WC) Heather WATSON/Madison KEYS (GBR/USA) 601 (128 + 473) v. Ashleigh BARTY/Casey DELLACQUA (AUS/AUS) [2] 21 (11 + 10)
