Saw set 2 & 3 of Naomi's match. Weird match, Naomi struggled with her first serve and couldn't time the ball, but then something suddenly clicked and the backhand started flowing and Puig couldn't cope. Third set Naomi was struggling fitness wise(I suspect she is carrying a leg injury) head went down after the break and that was that.

If she can get that level back from the middle of the second set to the end of the third set there is no reason why a top 100 place can be sustained.

How many times can the BBC get away with the mistakes they make. It's actually insulting to the players as well as the tennis fans out there. And from a journalism point of view it's downright lazy. Who is responsible for the tennis section on the BBC? I could go on again about the BBC saturation with Wimbledon again but I've done that to death, think I'm guilty with that on a couple another things as well having said that.

Anyway sort it out beeb. Maybe we should have some of our more respected and knowledgable posters contributing to the BBC. For all the coverage it gets anyway it wouldn't take too much effort for us all.

I see that Elise Mertens is still described by the beeb as a "Beligian". Is that a belligerent Belgian?
