So Heather (79) just missed out on direct entry, whilst Van Uytvanck (109) made it. Hev's ranking climb just too late for this week.

Could be a great chance to get 3 wins under the belt though.

Here's hoping Hev stays in Eastbourne/Wimbledon form and doesn't slip back again.

Heather is scheduled for "not before 11 pm" (UK time) tonight.

It's not before 1 pm local / 6 pm UK. I assume you're looking at ATP/WTA live, and converting from what looks like EDT but ATP/WTA live actually does the conversion for you - you can pick "EVENT TIME" (by which they mean local time at the tournament) or "LOCAL TIME" (by which the mean your own local time) - I've been caught out by this more than once!

The men's match prior to Heathers is suspended because of rain before it has even started, so it's going to be mid-evening time at the earliest even if the rain stops soon.

 Very confusing.

They are now saying the match will start tomorrow at 10 am event time and 3pm local time.

Yes, the rest of Saturday's play was rained off completely (it's been tipping it down here today and we're only about 100 miles south of DC, but apparently tomorrow is set to be dry all day, so hopefully it'll be dry in Washington too) and I agree, it is confusing, especially when we often express OoP times as XX local / YY UK, with "local" meaning the opposite of what "ATP/WTA live" means by it.

Starting early then, to catch up the time.
No let down now Hev, same intensity is required as in front of the big GB crowds during the grass season.
Good start, *2-0

Jeezo

Broken to love at *5-3. Had 4 match points at 5-4* and ends up in a third set.

6-2 5-7 *0-0

Only won 1 point in her final three service games of that set, which is worrying.

Intensity, Heather!!!
Focus, Heather!!!
Dangnabbit!

Starts the decider better, 6-2 5-7 *2-0
Then gives away the break.
6-2 5-7 2-1*

Buckle up boys and girls, we got another rollercoaster ride...
