RE: 'World' Team Tennis

Even better, here is a decent highlights package of the match. Have to say, I quite like the format.

Wouldn't have been Marcus Willis, would it ?  smile

I don't know if anyone's following this properly this year but I see from Naomi Broady's tweets that she's been doing well and enjoying herself.

And the Marcus Willis was the last-minute hero (in true WillBomb style ), beating Benjamin Becker, saving match points, which is no mean feat !

I'm following the reports when I spot them, but only then. Naomi and Willbomb do tweet about it a fair bit, and both have been having a fair bit of success

I don't really follow this but I see Naomi B got a big singles win yesterday, which must have been nice.

edit: I think I've just shown my ignorance (did say I didn't really follow this) - Naomi won one game....

Oh well, at least that was cause for some excitement.....

I see that Neal Skupski ended up playing singles for New York as they lost to Naomis and Marcus San Diego team.

Again, just dip in and out of this event, but big congrats to Marcus Willis for beating Moliner, ATP 48 in dubs, in a singles match 5-1

The team won 19-17 so that's basically down to him and down to the wire

Marcus beat Tiafoe 5-1 the other day as well. He's going really well and looking a lot fitter.

Good to see Marcus doing well. Cant help but think the shorter Matches are what helps him here.

And the team environment.

Absolutely the team environment is one that Marcus appears to thrive in. The world of the tour does appear to be a lonely place at times.
