Kyle is due to be first on court today but has been held up by rain - ominously, the weather forecast for Vercelli is rain every day through Tuesday (though hopefully not all day every day during that period!), sun on Wednesday and Thursday then rain again on Friday

I've been wondering when Kyle was going to be playing again.

Good luck to him

Looks like Kyle is about to do what many people here have been asking for recently. He is down to play a run of challengers now - 3 in the next 3 weeks,

Qualifying spots have already been placed and they are some tough ones for anyone who gets through. Potential opponents are

(1) Dustin Brown
Albano Olivetti
Yannick Mertens
(4) Aljaz Bedene

Kyle takes the set 6-2 in just 29 mins.

Could do with a repeat in the 2nd set as he will have to play again later today.

Despite being broken twice in the 2nd set, Kyle runs out a comfortable winner 6-2 6-4.

Whilst is was a match Kyle was always expected to win, given Kyle's lack of matches recently, it is always good to blow a few cobwebs away.

Schedule I've looked at is 15 first round matches only, with nobody playing twice in 1 day. (not sure about the 16th match either, and no byes.)

Yes. They have clearly changed the schedule since I looked at it last night. The biggest change is that there were 5 courts on the list last night but it appears that they are only using 3 courts now. Perhaps the other two are still suffering from the weather.

This revised schedule does still suggest at the bottom, however, that there may be some Q2 matches today.

Kyle is first on centre court tomorrow at 9am BST and ATP are streaming this tournament so there should be a good chance of watching.

Looks like they have had more rain as the start time has been put back until 10.30am BST and Kyle has been moved to a different court. There are no matches on Centre court until the afternoon.
